This event seeks to bring together our community that could not meet this year in the Field Workshop due to the current pandemic, to present updates on research and discuss on research paths for the next decade, within a friendly, inclusive and open atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Topics of interest:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"block-list\"><li>Fundamental studies of magmatic volatiles: theory, models, and experiments<\/li><li>Applied studies of magmatic volatiles: field observations, measurement techniques and impact of volcanic emissions<\/li><li>Case studies: volcanic emissions during eruptive and unrest periods<\/li><li>Announcements of general interest<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Venue and logistics:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Virtual Workshop will be carried out online using Zoom. The programme (content and time) will be defined depending on the number of accepted abstracts, but we aim at including general information&nbsp; sessions, oral presentations, poster-pitch sessions, and discussion panels. The full programme, abstracts, posters, and workshop report will be published online. Logistical details will be informed to the registered participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"block-list\"><li>The workshop is announced: 20th December 2020<\/li><li>Registration and abstract submission opens: 25th January 2021<\/li><li>Registration and abstract submission ends: 15th April 2021<\/li><li>Programme is announced: 1st May 2021<\/li><li>Virtual workshop takes place: 24th-26th May 2021<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Registration:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No cost to participants, please register by using the online form.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Abstract submission:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Please indicate if you prefer oral or poster (with oral pitch) presentation. Final assignation will be defined by the scientific committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Only one abstract can be submitted as first-author.<br><br>&#8211;&nbsp;For participants who wish only to attend,
